I’ve spent the past twenty years helping companies solve complex product challenges through through thoughtful strategy, great UX, and effective leadership. I scaled design organizations to tackle business objectives and deliver real impact. I turn design execution into a strategic advantage. I’m also pretty good at explaining why that button should be blue and not green.
Writing helps me think more clearly about design and the challenges of building products that are both useful and enjoyable. I explore ideas, wrestle with complex problems, and share insights from daily practice.
Effective leadership
Leadership and team building are endlessly challenging. I’ve had successes and I’ve had some setbacks. All of this has contributed to my understanding of what actually works in practice. Building effective teams and guiding them through constant change can be the most rewarding experience.
Thoughts on AI
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the work we do and the experiences we create. We’re in a transitional moment, still discovering how to use these tools effectively while new interaction models develop around us.
